Easy Crostini With Basil Pesto
So when it comes to appetizers and find finger foods I like recipes that can be prepared in advance. When you have guests coming over you should be a host that is socializing instead of you being in the kitchen.
When you make these beautiful appetizers you have to consider two things. Are you going to assemble the appetizer or are you going to serve them as a do it yourself appetizer?
I like to serve these appetizers an assemble it yourself. If you are in doubt if your guests know how to make this appetizer just make one as a showcase so that your guests have no doubt on how to assemble crostini appetizer.

Bread of choice – Baguette, french bread or Italian
1/4 cup Basil Pesto (Homemade or Store-bought)
Some Parmesan Cheese
Some Sun-dried tomato sliced
Slice the bread into 1/4 inch thick slices. Heat a grill pan or regular griddle on medium heat. Once hot, drizzle some olive oil.
Place the sliced bread and roast for about 1 min or until the side is nice and golden. Flip and cook the other side too until golden brown and crunchy. Remove from heat and keep aside
Apply Basil Pesto (a tsp or as much the bread can hold comfortably) on the crunchy crostini slices, top it with some Parmesan cheese and a couple of slices Sun-dried tomato.
